Shea
Schrader
INVESTIGATIVE REPORTER & STORYTELLER
ABOUT SHEAShea Schrader is an Emmy Award-winning investigative reporter and Lead Investigator at WTOC in Savannah, Georgia, with nine years of broadcast experience. She specializes in abuses of power and corporate accountability.
Her investigations have triggered federal probes, city inquiries, and community-driven calls for change. Shea broke the story of migrant labor exploitation at the Hyundai megasite nearly a year before Homeland Security raided the site— work that was later cited by the New York Times, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and the BBC. She also uncovered an alleged labor trafficking ring at a Savannah warehouse, and led WTOC's comprehensive coverage of the Quinton Simon murder case, securing the only interview with Leilani Simon before her conviction.
An Emmy Award winner and two-time Georgia Association of Broadcasters honoree, Shea brings rigor, source depth, and a persistent eye for the story behind the story.
